Based on the flashback and convo with his mom, I think the dad was cheating on the mom and forced his son to watch
(for what reason? Idk. Maybe to get back at his dad for separating them??? Could be. Maybe coz he hates omegas and wants his son to hate them too??? Maybe. Coz he's messed up in the head and abusive?? Duh.)
