They leave a lot of that out in this version. Seriously the novel is literally all sex and Minjo thinking thinking thinking. It doesn’t really delve into why boss Chu loves him just that he does and it just gradually wins over Minjo. Kid made the best of a bad situation and came out on top.
Don't know how to feel about this one. I'm hoping the rest is just all fluff because the protag seemed like he wasn't having any fun at all straight up until they had sex (through extreme coercion). Usually for turn-your-brain-off plots like this the protag at least finds the ML attractive, but that was like completely missing until these last few chapters. So. hmmm.
