It's kind of insane how people can easily turn their backs on you once jealousy and spite is full of them. it's sad because they even acknowledged his hardships of how he had so many part time jobs and even barely at school. but once he somehow had an opportunity to do better and have a better financial situation, people deadass still wish the worst for him. people are so cruel and miserable. i do empathize for the people that are bitter that he unethically got the scholarship but again, he thought he ethically did it himself, w no "help" but be deadass youre some rich ass old guy's fav so i think it'd be reasonable for you to place the suspicion on him... but like then again, he understands his own adversity and literally doing all night shifts to pay off his father's debts WHILE being a college student getting a degree. that's fucking insane and somehow he's still positive. i'm genuinely surprised he didn't kill himself or in some type of psychosis. but he's able to acknowledge his worth and thinks he's worthy enough to earn the scholarship AND DEADASS YEAH! he does deserve it. like it isn't abt the money at this point i feel like it was just something to prove about himself. that he was someone capable of earning an achievement while facing thru so much crap. and bro blaming the poor guy for allat when i genuinely feel like he did deserve the scholarship with or without any help. his personal struggles and consideration about others literally show proof that it's not hard to be nice. like vro i just feel bad for him he's getting all the shit when it's not even his fault
