they made the villians too evil and then none of them had retribution. the mom was soooo hypocritical, yes abuse w/e but like she claimed she wanted to atone but did absolutely zero to ever make amends in the whole entire time she got away. Emperor was too evil and powerless for someone the plot kept tryna keep powerful. it was ridiculous, he got away with so many ridiculous things it got to be rather senseless. also, saying the grandparents were good ppl when they had a kid like that and crowned him prince is craaazy, they let him get away with so much bad behaviour and crimes even before he had rhem killed lol.
i never liked rhe grand duke very much, at least in his interactions with FL but w/e all the characters were kinda shallow tbh like they didnt develop them out much.
ml and fl were cute, i consistenctly liked the fl and louise was great too haha all the knights were cool. also i liked ml had a baddie powerful female bestie like that was rare and cool
