I don't think she is a hater, im not 100% what her past was but she is jealous of him. Her brother or she were pro gamers and streamers and she is jealous bc either her brother died, gave up in some way or she stopped bc of her disability and she is watching Almond to cope. I don't think anyone can really watch someone they hate(atleast i can't)

I bet that Almond's accident that ended his archery career and the reason she's in a wheelchair are connected. Its probably going to be a big twist/reveal.
