Yess I agree, its not that the manhwas bad I just expected a lot more, maybe a sharper artstyle? Or more detailed emotional depiction for like iwols trauma whereas here it just feels brushed off
To me, the manhwa art couldn't capture the scenes of the novel perfectly. I don't like how Seongbin is drawn in manhwa. The novel is much better. People are missing out good stuff cause the manhwa looks mediocre.
I was also expecting Iwol to have a better hairstyle cause in the novel, he makes it a point to always style his hair and do skin care cause he doesn't want to show anyone an unkempt look. He also wakes up first for this reason. Hopefully they do better in season 2 cause the Korean raws are currently on hiatus.
This is one of the best idol novel I have ever read. The manhwa didn't do justice to the novel. The novel is far more better than manhwa. I have reread the novel 3 times before. I would recommend reading the novel too.
