why are people saying this story is overrated? it's hyped because it's good. you don't see stories centered around redemption as much as this. i think the hype was well deserved because it definitely is heartbreaking while also heartwarming at the same time. i like how the main plot focused on yoohan's development forward in life rather than their relationship, making the romance not overshadow the main point of the story. yoohan is by far one of the most main character i have ever read because of how properly centralized the story is around his actions and thoughts. the pacing of his development was crazy too, from being stoic to slowly opening his heart out to a new chapter of his life, finally accepting that he's not just living to atone for his sins, the regret he's holding deep in his heart, but also because he want to live and that there are things to live for now. yoon jay is a 50/50 for me, he's handsome but he's horny as fuck which ruins his character for me but nonetheless, he's witty and he's resourceful. i love how he doesn't necessarily exploit yoohan so he can have his way with his plans to take down chairman kim, more like enraged at the thought of involving yoohan in the shit show. anyways, i love this story, definitely a 10/10. yoohan finally got what he deserves and that's enough. change is always inevitable but it's never too late to start moving forward.
