The implication is definitely that he was raped. When Tennessee touches him back there in their first sex scene, Amber stiffens and fully flashes back in a PTSD response. No spoilers for later on, but there are a few clues there too. They don’t show anything (which I’m grateful for). But it’s pretty clear.
i thought he didn't get raped. i always thought that that guy was just physicaly abusive. i always thought the ml was a virgin before the mc so it was never mentioned
