Tbh it's made so that the dad gives the fmc ALL of his attention since alot of ppl read and make these for self indulgence ;; but instead of making the mom evil or sumth they have her dead so that they could make show that the dad actually loved her, so it's that the fmc is the child of the woman he loved the most (makes the fmc extra special) ykwim? Though I do kinda wish to see weird relationships for the parents in a childcare (child Mc) manhwa like in "my daddy hides his powers" or sumth,
That's what I'm saying. If the woman he loved the most just died, the grief-stricken reaction is understandable up to a point. But that doesn't seem to be the case here and in some other stories where the dead moms are just glossed over.
What's up with these reincarnation stories and their dead mothers? It's either the dad is so devastated that he can't take care of the baby at all, or they're so immediately smitten that they'd kinda just forget their wife just died. It's especially weird when there are older children that the mom also left behind. Their loss and grief are often not addressed at all.
