Culture difference

It makes sense how the beastmen weren't able to distinguish the mc as a human male. In beastmen culture, it's the norm for both genders to be buff or masculine in a way, therefore it's no wonder they applied the same logic onto the mc. Although you could definitely argue that the previous human brides were less masc presenting, thus they would apply different logic onto their race, I'd still like to chalk it up to the fact that beastmen are open minded to the point that they don't mind whether a woman has bulk muscles or not. (Not to mention they only base the match up criteria of the brides with their surface level features rather than strictly abiding to the portrait given to them)
