idk about you all, but MC pisses me off so bad. sure, ML is taking it too far, and thats inexcusable, but holy shit it really gets to a point and I can understand his frustration. hell, *I* come from a family who struggles financially, even as a 22 year old. so I can say I get why he’s so anxious about taking money, but when your LITERAL PARTNER is FULLY OFFERING, NO STRINGS ATTACHED purely because they want to support you, will be responsible, and is stubborn about it, TAKE THE DAMN HELP. I hate that pride BS. I hate taking money and gifts from people, but I at least accept it when the other person really wants to give it. Having your kindness, support, and gifts be constantly turned down does hurt. A relationship comes with transactions, thats natural. From financial support down to simple chores. All that “he wants to tie me down with his money!!” shit is so ridiculous. Like DUH, HES YOUR BOYFRIEND!!!! THAT INHERENTLY MEANS BEING TIED DOWN!!!
