Idk what to say besides this is peak story telling. I’ve reread this many times but I feel like it gets better every time. Every evil character is evil but with a purpose that is so thoroughly explained or hinted. Ohera with her fear of love passed from her mother casts MC out of Jeremy’s wedding(in past life, but the fear is the same in new life). Jonesses reacting to necklace almost like PTSD and then abusing MC(that doesn’t justify shit, but I can see how he went from nice guy to full psycho). MC brother, looking to use other people.
But at the same time, non-evil characters are also explored in depth. Nora’s villager friends are explored and given depth in how their view of Nora changes over time. Many more but I’m hella tired from binging this all day. I started this are like 7ish Pm and now it’s like 10am. OM so unhealthy of me oof(〜￣△￣)〜 No regrets tho cause this was high-key peak AF
