Is it just me, or is the explanation for the things he's done are far from what we've actually seen? Like, I get that it's an "oh he might seem like that on the surface but it's completely different from his intentions".
It's a lot of "I never realized" and "didn't mean to" but from all the previous chapters, he seemed very precise and purposeful? I even thought this was his 10-year plan unfolding since highschool.
"I said those words because I didn't know how to feel", "I did those things but I don't know why I did", all the reasons they're giving stems from him not knowing or understanding what he was feeling or was even aware of what he was doing.
I get that he's somewhat unable to empathize normally like other people, but to reveal that he was entirely unaware of anything he felt or was doing was not what he seemed like, nor did they ever hint it. This is kind of a cop-out.
