I read his pov in the novel and I'll give him credit he didnt randomly text a number saved as mister. No, he had memorized the MLs number and was able to verify it that way. Mind you he didnt just take the MCs phone randomly while he was passed out drunk like it was sitting open on the table or something. He deadass verified he was asleep reached into his pocket, used his finger to unlock the phone, and then scrolled through the messages to see if the ml was anywhere in it. He even comments on their previous texts and how it could barely be called a conversation since the mc rarely responded. Then he gets super salty bc the ml rarely responds quickly to his texts or initiates conversations with him but with the mc he does both
The dominant omega really just played himself lmao. Out of jealousy he went through his DRUNK friends phone and sent a text to someone only labeled as "mister" all because he thought that MIGHT be the man he was interested in (crazy behavior tbh). MC had clearly not even answered the texts from the ML he got and was intending to ghost him but bc the dominant omega wanted to be nosy he accidentally ended up reestablishing contact and the ML was able to see a cute side to MC and give him more of a reason to keep coming back. All bc of jealousy over a man that has said he's not interested the ML is now legitimately all cuddled up with MC giving that drunk forehead kisses and shit. At this point that dominant omega is playing matchmaker lol
