it wasn't bad, but it was really poorly executed. maybe if it had more volumes, it could've explored everyone's feelings better, given them more space, and maybe included a time skip of a few years. i think that would've worked much better. everything felt way too rushed, and that's what gave me such a weird feeling. i didn't think it was strange for a 12-year-old kid to have those naive ideas about becoming a father and all that, but the fact that he held onto those feelings for 18 years? lol. honestly, he's the one who needed some distance so he could start seeing akane differently if he really loved him. anyway, it felt like an incomplete and rushed story, but the art is beautiful as always with this author. it was okay, though. entertaining enough.
