As a literary translator, I don’t care when I see my books on illegal sites, because it cultivates new readers and I know that the exposure actually increases the chance of people buying the books if and when they can. It's been my own experience and i see this happening all around me. I wonder what kind of economic bubble the author lives in to be unaware of millions of readers who cannot purchase her works even if they desperately want to.
