MC can talk back to him because of plot armor, but that kind of forceful, violent asshat, I don't blame her for being scared. And the silver hair dude... Honestly, without plot knowledge, I don't actually see any signs of his true nature in how he acts. He's a manipulator through and through, I don't blame her for not noticing a professional con.
