I’m in chapter 62. So far… It's not that good in my opinion..
I decided to give it a try because it's been in my to-read list for so long and I've read comments recommending this one as a classic. I love slice of life stories so I thought it was gonna be a banger, but I haven't been able to invest myself in the story at all, everything happened so fast and at the same time nothing has happened. The characters got together so quickly with just a few meet ups in like chapter 20 of 100, then in just what I consider was the biggest plot point (the bottom’s friends passing away) got revealed and explained some chapters later, since then everything just feels like filler, I even skip the sex scenes cause it feels random and excessive at times. I can't exactly pin point what exactly is not convincing me, cause I'm so far along now that I can't keep giving excuses or “read more” to get into it. I just don't feel anything for any character, can't immerse myself in the story either.
Maybe the side stories are better for me, i love the guideverse concept so guess ill just continue cause i dont want to drop this :/
