Yes, it really never should have been labeled as Yaoi in the first place.
It was def a turning point for how BL manhwa's writing was done esp after KS became popular coz somehow every toxic top has a sad backstory & that's fine but they fail at good writing and romanticize it when KS literally had Sangwoo die however violence in BL isn't really new esp if u read BL mangas
I kinda really hate this manga.
It's well written as far as I can remember, but it acted as a turning point on how yaoi was written. What was once a mushy romance genre was after muddled with stories with so much hate and violence in the genre. We still see the effects of it today, but it has certainly calmed down.
Still, I respect the story for what it is.
