I just started reading this and yeah sure i guess her being obsessed with the kid is kinda weird but i think its really just made weird and very uncomfortable bcz they are using the word "simp" and "simping" which i feel like is usually more used in a context of a person staning and finding the other person atractive in a more "mature" way like with a crush rather than wanting to take care of a child bcz u find them cute or they are your favorite character, the use of the word isnt wrong its just that i feel its more commonly used with a more sexual connotation
