Basically he is from a different world - this world has a really popular internet creepypasta universe that anybody can add to. It had a bunch of lore that people would make stories around. One of the pieces of lore is that there is a company (Daydream inc) that explores all these ghost stories. The ML read a bunch of these internet stories for fun, but then one day gets sucked into this world after winning the lottery at the pop-up store. So where u are in the story now is that he’s a new hire, but they have a death game that weeds out any weak new hires to see who is truly fit for the company. He’s in that death game.
Ohhh okay that makes more sense then. So is the day dream company a part of the real world he is from? I’m just confused on whether he is actually an employee from a real company in his world or if that company is part of the horror world he is now in.

What that company is specifically, I believe it was never mentioned properly, just that he was in a position where he has to appeal to superiors as much as possible
The company is part of the horror, he basically got "trasmigrated" into a horror world. That being the Daydream Company.
I’ve only read the first two chapters, but I am super confused on whats going on. Like I get they’re in a ghost story but the way they’re explaining it makes it sound like he’s a part of it as an employee but also not? Idk I’m just really confused as to what the ML’s role is. The premise sounds good but all the text and the skipping around throws me off and not in a good way.
