a bl is ‘second half’
I have two bl sports rivals recs that are western: it's called Fence! and it's really good, ongoing + has 2 tie in novels; 2 main couples and queer supporting cast, plus it was a GLAAD nominee. the other one is hockey, it's called "Check Please," you can read it at https://www.checkpleasecomic.com
unfortunately I don't really have many manhwa/manga rivals or enemies to lovers recs but you might still like these sports recs:
I haven't heard it myself but for bl, ik a lot of people recommend keystone romantic combination (baseball).
my favourite bl sports manhwa is High Clear, but the two MCs play different sports.
for gl, i really like "Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games" which is esports, and also Sweet Heat! which is wrestling. but good news, Lola tung is working on the movie Ripe! which is a sapphic soccer rivalry :)
