Sameee. The story actually highlights topics like : gang life, religion, corruption, homophobia, child abuse, trauma, drug use, sexual assault and other heavy topics. It might not go in depth with all these, because the characters seem to be in constant denial and wanting to gloss over how shit their lives truly are.
Okay after rereading this I kinda realized how deep and serious this actually is and I totally feel bad for reducing this webtoon to a hot gang enemies to lovers thing. But to be fair, Sean is just so blindingly handsome that my brain just turns itself off whenever I see him
So one thing which I’m not sure of: it was supposed to be some kind of big revelation that manny is the serial killer guy right? And apparently he’s also been betraying Angela the whole time? AND working with the priest??
What is manny’s intention in all of this?
Also he suddenly had some kind of panic attack when he killed the guy who tried to attack Sean… why? When he’s already used to killing? He also killed Donovan? His friend!?
AND he’s started sleeping with the priest? What is this development omg why are they suddenly a team
