I mean it does make it interesting but it's all a scam. This kind of trick was actually used a lot in social circles way back in the medieval era, showing off a child that could be a bastard or legitimate child would have thrown everyone off, especially the father. Though I have no doubt that our MC is the real daughter and it's just an orphan who looks like or has little blood relations.
