He is down bad for him, he just really sucks at showing it. But later he asks Eden if he wants to stay in the house with him as his personal pianist, he even buys him a piano (a very crappy one because the snow and the remote location of the house didn’t allow them to bring a better piano) but Eden is conflicted because he still wants to play the piano for many people, not just Tristan. I’m probably skipping over a lot but, while trying to get to Tristan’s house, Eden almost dies because he hadn’t gotten treatment in a while, Tristan realizes he can’t really keep Eden in that house forever, and decided to move to London with him instead. (Mind you through out all of that he’s still as dry and stoned faced as ever lmao, but I guess he does show he’s worried for Eden)
