Yes, but like you said, it isn’t a romance. Anyone reading this hoping he’ll end up with that guy or likely any of the omegas from the class is in for a shock. I doubt he’ll end up with anyone, or if he does, it might be an arranged marriage with an alpha or the type of relationship where he cheats regardless.
I will say he seemed more attached to the blonde guy in a way compared to any of the others, even though he isn’t the type who would take blondie seriously as a romantic interest, but obviously that ended.
yess but i cant help but notice that while the manga is a social commentary on misogyny (& vry well done) the mc himself heavily discriminates omegas and seems to have no character growth up to now. aside from the occassional discrimination he faces as an omega, he rlly is no different from an alpha in the way he looks down on them and just sexualizes them.
in fact all his exes are just his victims and im just frustrated bc kamemaya (his latest ex and my bias) has not yet found his happy ending, throughout their relationship mc rlly just treated him as a backup bc his exes dumped him and even made moves on other omegas
i rlly love this story so i rlly hope it will improve on the mcs side but i fear the author will continue to portray him as a morally gray
I think it’s really not that easy to change if you’re as stubborn as him and raised as an alpha and conditioned to think a certain way about omegas. Those views get reinforced by other alphas around him. Plus he’s a rich asshole so he’s used to getting his way and using others for his own gain. Internalized misogyny/homophobia etc is a real thing that people struggle with. Not defending him at all btw he’s pretty scummy. But even in real life people don’t always change so fast
ik that this is not a love story but more so to do with mc’s self growth but he is such a jerk and excuses it with his complex as an omega. he degrades, sexualizes and looks down on other omegas IN FRONT OF HIS PARTNER. the fact that he is also proud of cheating/ “attempting” to cheat in front of his partner is so yuck. its a running gag and im already so tired of it
