Starts with an interesting premise and then slowly turns into a convoluted mess that would piss you off/entertain the heck out of you. The novel is also well-written (for this kind of genre) and does a good deep dive into each characters psyches. Spoiler: They are both annoying and on the verge of stupid from time to time but the emotions land so well. If you love messy omegaverse stories that are more character than plot-driven this is for you.
