its honestly about yeomins principles and values, sure he can hate his dad, but not to the point of killing him. Yeomin knew that taeseo was capable of that, its why he asked, it wasn't really about the father's well being.
It is realistic. I don't know if you remember but in the first season, you can see that yeomin clearly didn't want to have connection with his father anymore and ask for cutting contact (when the father asked more money, thus took another loan that made yeomin got kicked out from his home and end up lived with Taeseo).
And this season when the debt collector announced his father debt already paid. He didn't even ask where his father and only got the letter as prove his free from his father's debt guarantor.
He concerned because HE COULD MAKE SOMEONE'S DIE from his decision. Not from kindness of "ohh i want to forgive my father". You can hate someone to death but not to the point risk someone's lives.
I m sorry but this is a very unrealistic portrayal of sumone being abused by their father. Wym the father beat him up and ran away with debt -deserves to be concerned over like this by the son???
