Love your acknowledgment about Yeomin characteristics. I shocked to read many comments about Yeomin should has just act like prostitut and accepted the money. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Oh, and Taeseo acting like an owner controlling Yeomin like a oet/property. Protect him, and shower him with wealth just to make himself feel good, and pissed of when Yeomin did not act like a pet should.
Before you end up like Taeseo...
Yeomin's crash out is not just about money and pride, and its valid for so many more reasons:
1) Taeseo went and did all this even Yeomin EXPLICITLY told him not to - this blatantly disregards his desires and disrespects his wishes. Unrelated to money, this really feels like sh*t (speaking from experience)
2) Yeomin did not want to solve his problems using Taeseos help cause he wanted to preserve his own integrity, dignity, and values (what does a person have if they dont have these) - if he wanted to get money through any means, he could've sold himself or found other ways wayyy before but he wanted to do it the "honest" way because that is whats important to him.
3) Yeomin also didn't want to solve his problems like this because he is someone who is clear about boundaries (i.e. those instances he was firm with the kid, dad, etc.) And if he took such help from Taeseo it would cross the boundary and make their relationship go from a fling to literally a sponsorship. Yeomin could tolerate being in an unrequited physical relationship but that was the furthest he would sacrifice his self-respect.
4) rather than take the time to maybe slowly convince yeomin, taeseo went behind his back - there was no communication, just deceit
And all in all, at the end of the day, Taeseo forced Yeomin to give up the only things he had tried to hard to protect, betrayed his trust, shows no remorse or willingness to understand what he did, showing Yeomin that deep down Taeseo is someone who never considered Yeomin as an equal, a person, or with respect....so yea he ain't wanna be with him no more and unless Taeseo proves otherwise, it's true
