That he does. Infact it took MC a while before he could get used to having sex without puking everytime. Having said that, this was to a certain extent planned by MC. MC's uncle was going to sell him to men with high status and in order to escape that fate, MC felt like ML was his best bet. So he engineered their "first encounter" which led to ML being interested in him and then proceeded to use ML to execute his revenge(this is a revenge story). The start of this relationship isn't exactly ideal(MC was 18 when it happened) and he could even be described as ML's canary(which led to people underestimating him) but MC is a smart and manipulative person and I think if he truly wanted to escape from ML, no one could've stopped him. I personally like this story for the MC. In the beginning his revenge was intriguing and how things fell into place the way he planned it was satisfying to read. Then you slowly see more humane sides of this cold and ruthless person(he's even ruthless to himself) and the role ML played on thawing his cold personality. Overall the relationship between the two cannot really be explained by grapist and his victim. Btw the first time they had sex, ML prepared a knife to hand to MC incase he wanted to hurt ML and vent his frustrations but ultimately chose not to because MC was more concerned about killing his uncle than ML.
I said he's not a bad person because after reading the whole novel I don't think it does justice to how he's written. Did he do something unforgivable to the MC? Yes. But did also save MC's life multiple times? Also yes. They don't negate eachother but I don't think I don't think he should be chalked up to a bad person all things considered. He's a morally grey character and that's just my opinion.

Brace yourselves. This is a chinese Manhua so expect this to be toxic and ragebait ZERO redemption arc and ML becoming a puppy character instead of suffering the consequences of his toxicity.
I’m calling it right now
