Yeah, chap 117 expanded on that and became a source of conflict but not in the way I was expecting. While Jae planned and in a way was forced to lay out his feelings and thoughts about why he wants Garam to perform, with him, that duet, still felt bittersweet. Like putting behind a curtain his feelings and experiences from the past, for the sake of this man and his desires but Garam... understands ('love'). But I do wonder if we are going to be able to see the limits of all that understanding someday...
What's that on purpose? Putting the duet, bringing back all those painful memories, all that trauma... I know it's just a coincidence because of the situation, they need to fill the timeline gap and something the author decided surely long ago but omg bows to them because the timing couldn't be more precise.
