I’m not for the revenge plot personally but I have a feeling he is endgame… I’m on chapter 18 and I’m thinking of he can’t help you at all he has to go. This man since his childhood has been suppressed because of his background he should have been honest long ago because what he did to his wife was nasty. Our mc stepped down for him and he neglects her knowing divorce hurts a woman’s honor. While talking shit to his nasty butler who hates nobles. I wish he wasn’t endgame but ik he is.
