So the mc2 u see in normal world going for interview in originaly from normal world he went into the one world with monsters in it when nine and started a clinic there... But during that time, the mc1 we know has been living in the normal world until he goes to the monster world, this is where story starts.. so we seeing wat happened to the mc2.. and jehee there is of the normal universe and has not met him before
