He is also a person with crazy abandonment issues, and he finds it safer to provoke and push people away than to open up because rejection and disappointment are probably deaply painful for him, and distance is a safer choice for him. If someone wants to overcome the walls, they have to overcome all that abuse which is a huge douche move but how many people operate. Defense mechanisms and maladaptive coping skills and shit. Far be it from me to defend the professor, but I'll explain what I understood. The professor is downbad for Garam (he REALLY wants to have sex, like when he thinks that rubbing isn't enough, that he gets hard just from hearing him touch him, etc), but he doesn't want to have sex with him before the debut stage because he's definitely going to be rough cof cof *sadomasochist* (just like he was with the woman), which could make garam lose focus during the presentation and hurt him...
Finally, I think, as has been demonstrated several times, the professor is testing the garam with a kind of "can he really understand me?". He kind of set the goal of "if he manages to make a good stage debut, then he really understands me." And because of all this, he sometimes has a lapse and goes to have sex with someone else, to "relieve" all the tension/arousal; he doesn't want to sabotage Garam, he wants Garam to think only about music at that moment.
That's so well articulate. They already talked about that they aren't dating as of now. So, I don't see any problem with him sleeping with others. Plus, as someone said, he is not gonna sleep with others from now on.
Makes complete sense. And I know that whatever he is doing is for Garam and even Garam accepts that he is hooking up with her for him and in a way is kinda okay with it.
