I read a few chapters in the novel (haven't finished because I read others first lol) and I recommend it since it being described well, MC is not your normal bottom mc (who usually suffered so much by debt, being tsundere, aggressive behaviour or having poverty problems etc)
he just doesn't have problems now (he rich after become rut partner, he doesn't have family members anymore) so basically he just living his full life that why he acting proactive because he already living a nice life now (literally have no problems).
And ML, in fact doesn't not a jerk, in the novel when that omega (MCs friends) and ml in the car they talk things through, ml said to that omega that he doesn't love him and he needs to find other alpha because they are not suitable, he is being tolerant with that omega is because he being recommended by his grandmother which he didn't agree in the first place(his grandmother is a jerk btw), he always being forced to be with that omega by his grandmother, and that omega also has a crush on ML because he is perfect alpha in his opinion, but ML big problems is that he doesn't love that omega he also has a rut sickness (that why he needs rut partner) and now further chapters he would keep falling in love with MC
He is not his partner, haneul like him but the ml dont and they have nothing between them expect for their families wanting them to get marridd but the ml clearly rejected him
From reading the manhwa alone, I think the ml is a jerk. He should've ended things properly with his current partner before going around cheating on him. The mc is annoying, he has no personality traits or quirks and he let's things happen to him rather than being proactive with them. Hanuel is the only character acting as he should. He suspected things only after he saw signs (the saved number, the job, the vague story of how mc and ml met), and he is right to take action. Does my interpretation match what happens in the novel?
