I think some of you guys aren't getting the point... the mc isn't gonna end up with the white hair. The recent chapters show him getting sexually assaulted because he did something to him in the past and he ran away, the whole situatuon is not explained yet but mc is a victim regardless.
With how the story is shaping, the cop is definitely the male lead and it's not even a debate. If you genuinely think a victim should get together with their assaulter you definitely have something wrong with you... He's obviously being painted as the antagonist in this story.
Unless the author randomly switches up and gives the white hair a "redemption arc" suddenly every action he did is forgiven because a "sorry" and acknowledgement of their actions will just "erase away" the mental & physical trauma the mc faced.
