I would recommend you read the novel. The manhwa is just full of disappointments. When I tell you I almost cried reading this scene in the novel.
PS: If you do read the novel, you should start from the very beginning. The manhwa removed a lot of scenes

It might just be me, but the emotional impact is lackluster. I haven't read the novel yet though so I don't really know how to describe this weird feeling just that I can't really feel the emotional impact
