I'll start by saying that the plot is good. It's just that I don't feel like it's being properly executed. The issues were being resolved before they were even introduced (like MC revealing her stepmother's true identity as a "bishop" within the first chapters). There were so many issues presented at once and before you had time to process them they were talking about something else. I wish the author delved into every plot a little more, it feels rushed.
PS: About FL's mother... Couldn't she just have lived on a separate state for the duration of the pregnancy so she wouldn't get posioned by FL's father? I feel like it could've been easily resolved without her having to sacrify herself but maybe I don't understand how his powers work ╮( ̄. ̄)╭
regarding the mother’s sacrifice, it was essentially because of the biological process of it all, FL’s Dad has uncontrollable potent poison as bodily fluids so it would always lead to a problem one way or another ╥﹏╥
Spoiler alert!
