Calling this story hot and sensual will be an understatement. The Romance was sooo intense that I was clutching my invisible pearls. Plus the yearning was the way ml spoke to FL was always so poetic.
The ml was the classic red flag with obsession so dark that if he could he would have burned the whole world and just be with the FL all alone. And be her everything. Way too sexy and hot. I think this ml has to be one of the hottest straight manhwa mls I have seen so far. His obsession made him more intense and dangerous. Tbh his bloodstained face literally turned me on. His back story was truly dark and the fact everyone called him a madman was justifiable.
The FL was also a very strong character. She wasn't a damsel in distress.
The smut was SMUTTING it is by far the most instense and hot one in straight smuts. I devoured it and it didn't felt tiring or repetitive which is sadly for the case of most straight smuts.
For the story I would say I enjoyed the political and dark part of the ml's life. This story basically surrounded by his tragic and horrific past and his revenge for all this. But I will say the major conflict was resolved kind of "abruptly"? Like it felt very rushed. I guess I wanted more action and more bloodied face of his. But because this story was built in majority of romance and his yearning so I can understand why it was resolved so quickly.
And one negative point will be I think the author kind of forgot about the 2nd lead? He was vanished suddenly. I was pretty excited to see his facade being removed and him going batshit crazy. That would have been very entertaining tbh.
Also we deserved more of yeong and yulje's story. I craved more of their story. It felt unfinished
