Grayson goes into heat, and Grayson is very against having sex against his choice(ex. Twins in beginning). And Dane overwhelms him with his pheromones and hops on his dik.

Dane later accepts Josh's offer to kidnap Grayson, but Grayson ends up trapping both of them in one of his dad's villas and that night Dane goes into heat and forces Grayson to have sex with him, even tho Grayson asked him to stop

Ok. So we are currently ch 50 in the book, and i believe it is ch 69 is when heat starts and he goes into Graysons roo., ch 70 is when it happens.
Now, this author has a lot of nonconsent, so it happens in every novel I've read but kiss me if you can. Busy an FYI!
And for anyone who thinks otherwise...it's not gentle with how much Grayson tried to avoid it. I actually felt so bad for Grayson:
He was flaccid, told Dane to stop several times, including screaming, and jumped out of the way. In the end, Dane spread pheromones to induce rut, they exchanged physical punches and kicks until grayson couldn't fight anymore.
But doesn’t he apologize to Grayson afterwards? In the novel, despite it being Grayson (person he hates) he realizes what he did to him and takes accountability for it. But then its not just Dane who’s at fault, but also Grayson for keeping Dane at the mansion unwillingly and forcing him to like him through sharing the same space. Gahh they stress me out man

Still i love this novel. It has so much depth, and to watch Graysons growth. Ask im saying is everyone is all for Dane, but he is not infallible. Grayson is not perfect either, but there is so much hate on him. I feel both have their redeeming qualities.
the way ppl think he is as green as forest makes it so funny like this is the guy who can literally sleep with wtvr tf he wants to the point when dane and grayson became official, grayson was even doubting himself

Yeah I get that. I just wish the author didn’t have to include that part of the novel and it was difficult for me to look past, especially after glazing Dane so hard in the beginning. But I still love the novel with all my heart.

It was a rough scene of course until Grayson started to enjoy the sex, but Dane knew he attacked him, and Grayson was shaken by it.
And to person who came from 1st of Summers...year the season closer gutted me too.
All of you who think dayne is just the sweetest and kindest guy... He's not.
