I agree with you. Although, how I see for myself is that MC doesn't care about it because he doesn't know his mother that well. I am just glad that the author doesn't make the MC outright forgive his mother but instead make sure to show that her action had consequences on MC personality and trauma.

Thats what i meant by he got scammed by the mother manager which then forces him to go. Im not sure how the law works in situations like this but im pretty sure its not legal to push the whole funeral bill on someone who didn’t run the funeral
That be great if they did go deeper into the consequences of her actions, im just not sure if they’re gonna stick with it bc in the future chapters im pretty sure they tried to give the mother a reason on y she did what she did
No matter the reason the mother is horrible and mc is a pushover. I don’t like the fact that they’re trying to much the mom like she was a great person. She abandon her son, never visited him even ONCE, left him no money, left her own mother no money. Then she died and mc got called to her funeral. Then he gets scammed by her manager which then forces the mc to take the daycare job. Mc doesn’t fight back at all, a total pushover. My anger issues can’t take this story line its so frustrating how does the mc doesn’t fight for himself
