hmm I'd say the tappytoon translation is better. Its more accurate and actually makes an effort to translate the authors biology jokes properly without watering it down, the lezhin one doesn't do the biology gags justice tbh. Tappytoon was just overall more considerate of the korean version
big agree!! there are many moments which are hilarious in the tappytoon translation that doesnt hit nearly the same in the lezhin one （￣へ￣）
So... I just wanna ask, i hope it didn't come up as something offensive or anything.
In ur opinion, which translation is better to read (between the lezhin or the tappytoon one) or which one gives a feeling that's not so different from the original (korean) one, especially when it comes to the humor? U know, sometimes there are dialogues or jokes where u have to find the right word placement or sentence structures(?) so that the original message and "feeling" still the same when it reach the readers. So, which one do you think does that better?
I'm honestly pretty sensitive when it comes to official eng translation of manhwa, manga, or other comics from different languages Things like changing "-hyung" to just "bro," westernizing the names (like Tian Yu become Dave or sum like that), or making other "localization" changes (that often really different from the original one) can really affect the reading experience for me. I know not everyone minds them, but u know I'm kinda picky abt this one
(I think i used to read this manhwa when it released on tappytoon and i haven't read it yet when it got re-released on lezhin eng, i mean sure I've seen some panels and memes hahaha but i haven't fully read it when it got re-released)
