Nope no FL MC is very focused on leveling up the Females here are only showed as friends or potentials but the MC never really shows that much interest in them

No, it is a harem. There's a handful; they're not weak and can stand on their own and provide help to the MC. Granted, the series isn't showing it much, but leaving the hints. In the far future, there will be one that forces her way into the harem without his permission because she deems him dangerous.
If harems aren't your style, you can drop it; this story mostly focuses on the story from what I've seen. I am not sure if there were romance scenes besides the innocent bits we've seen so far with the one we see hanging around him the most. I believe we've already met 2 or 3 of the girls in the harem. I'd have to check the wiki to make sure, but again, they all don't require his protection but respect and love him as they strive to be strong and useful to aid him.
I’m on chapter three and while the translations are kind of garbage, the story seems pretty interesting. Can someone tell me if there is an FL though, I really hope not.
