Yesss the build up emotions here not really felt. Many people here talk bad about C saying he is drama queen, too much, childish, it's because the delivery of C's feelings is not as pronounced as in the novel

It feels super rushed in manga but in novel the pacing was good. Maybe It kinda feels like this because emotions are not fully coming through in manga.
