Just spent 2 days binging this and I wish I could go back and read it again for the first time this was so gooooood I loved how smart and resourceful and reliable bada was and the dynamic between him and doha. bada was basically the "brains" solving the puzzles and figuring out the game mechanics and doha was the "brawn" and dealing with the killer whenever he popped up. I'd say he contributed to gameplay too but he was mostly sabotaging bada and hiding things from him so not really lol. Doha was selfish and manipulative and I didn't fully trust him for most of the story and falling in love with bada didn't change that about him but him apologizing for dragging bada into the game and trying to use him to escape went a long way towards making me feel that doha really did care for bada. I'm really looking forward to the sides and seeing how Doha acts outside of the game. The others mentioned that doha was pretty normal in the beginning but became colder and more calculating through the repeated sessions and bada also says that he seemed like the nicest out of them but doha stated that that was just him making the most rational decisions so I'm wondering if doha was actually already kind of secretly a psychopath before the game started and was just hiding it from everyone until they were in a situation where it didn't really matter or if he just changed that drastically.
