Why did they only have fish when they could have also had chickens I mean chickens aren't that complicated to take care of and you could easily secure an area underground for them to eat from it's not like worms and s*** don't live under the earth along with beetles and other such pests they could have had a thriving community of chickens fish and vegetables because bird poop is notoriously great and fish poop water is also notoriously great for plants so the plants would grow bigger if you feed the animals food that you get from the Earth and all they had to do was leave one tunnel open to an earth segment I mean yeah block off the entrance but one tunnel underground that is access to dirt would have done them wonders and they could have had cats whom don't eat a whole lot or a dog done them some good because then they could have also gone hunting yeah it's dangerous outside but I mean you didn't have to go that far and it's not like you couldn't secure the vicinity just food for thought
