Im confused too like he was so calm abt divorce if they needed to in early chaps.
And now he’s panicking.
Ig the author wanted to show his progress in feelings but it’s not been great and just feels like a 180. Either way this story is cute
Our ml is a lil dumdum… he genuinely thought the honeymoon discussion was about the “topic” of divorce but not a threat of “their” divorce. He’s head over heels and will not let mc go if he can help it.
What that was not what I read. The topic was the possibility of their divorce
Chapter 12. The topic was not the possibility of their divorce but rather if ML would consider divorce as it falls under the scope of something he can do, just like how getting married was done primarily because it was something he could do. Which he clarifies he hasn’t even thought about but because our MC keeps poking at it ML then states that out of consideration for MC’s words they should have a formal discussion about it. Fast forward to chapter 16, they don’t even have the discussion because ML does a romantic act that leads to the statement “Your happiness is my top priority” which, along with the romantic act and a few more things discussed, moves the MC.
A man that had thought of divorcing you will not reassure you in any way, shape or form, much less try to keep you happy. This man has been head over heels for MC so no, it’s not really all so sudden, contextual clues from previous chapters will tell you this man never once considered divorcing our MC which is why he rushed back at the idea that MC may divorce him, especially after everyone in the blog agreed they go for divorce too if their partner traveled on a long trip right after the honeymoon.
Are y'all forgetting he literally considered discussing divorce in their honeymoon I'd have doubts to tbh. Anyway this complete 180 kind feels wierd cus he wasn't like these few chapters ago.
