Okay so essentially what's going on is that they need the wooden pendant in order for them to find out what the ingredients of the black portion is so that the king would not be poisoned by the counsel right.. I don't know why they are pretending Abel lost his memory I can't remember that but what I do know is that they need to know the ingredients of the black potion because if they control the back portion they can control the council because that is what is essentially making the console powerful and able to control kings with the blood of the dragon.
ermm can i ask (regarding the last chapter) does that mean the king doesn't actually believe abel is the real abel? like, he thinks they are just using this random guy to pretend he's abel to get the wooden pendant? its a bit confusing on that part, maybe i just read it too fast
The king knows that he is the real Abel but he just.. I want to say he's just fed up of being used for everybody else's gain and the abuse he has suffered.
