The way that Garam will stand up for himself fairly often now, but almost always relents or acts agreeable right afterwards (usually after getting a half assed excuse or apology, but not even that in chapter 123) is frustrating, but I realized I relate to that a lot. It’s hard to fully stand up for yourself when you’re used to managing the other person’s emotions. I often am not even aware that I’m doing it, that’s how second nature it is, and I think Garam is the same. I hope that he is able to overcome this though, and truly stand up for himself without backing down. I hope he doesn’t let the professor get away with being such a selfish person forever.
