Lets remember how much time and patience it took for Paula to get Vincent to even stop trowing stuff at her face and eat. Paula was taking all the steps at the start. Now it is Vincent turn to be the patient one and I believe he will, he is being very direct about how much he absolutely adores her.
I am not complaining, I am just summarizing the situation. So, I do not see the need to fuss over her trauma and maid status. It does not change the fact that she shall distance herself, regardless of her intentions.
